So been awhile but i have been still plugging away at the GUI. It adds a way of bulk purchasing but it may end up being annoying ? I have got in place a working in game shop where the player can obviously purchase parts.One thing i put in place and im not sure i will keep is that the player can not only instant buy they can add there items to a shopping cart and potentially buy everything they put in there later on. ![]() Overall i have a basic game loop happening where i can start the game and go to the test track / Return to Menu and Quit. 23 NHRA EVENTS Race one event at a time, or compete through a whole season, crossing the finish line at 23 realistic NHRA. Race as or against Gary Scelzi, Tony Schumacher, Greg Anderson or over 35 other real NHRA drivers, in the most realistic racing experience ever. Might not seem like much but for myself its good motivation that im actually heading forward. Found this game in the bargain bin for less than ten buck, so what the heck. Right now i have started work on making those parts the player can purchase actually do something in terms of building a car. One of the things i really want to do is allow the player to be able to nearly change everything on the car. ![]() There will be no changing of bolts and nuts like in Mechanic Simulator or similar type games but we should allow the player to change the main parts. #NHRA DRAG RACING PC GAME TORRENTS SIMULATOR# One problem i may face is that each part will have an effect on the cars performance. So the player can buy say 10 different styles of intake manifolds and each of them will effect the engine performance depending on other parts as well. The game supports force feedback devices and includes competitive online play. Tune your car against changing weather conditions and view detailed telemetry via Racepak, the same software used by all the NHRA teams. ![]() All of this parts “data” will be what drives the actual simulation of a motor engine but thats another whole problem alltogether i need to tackle down the line. It includes the entire 25 event NHRA circuit and 30 of the top drag racing teams. I remember doing a tutorial awhile ago and one of the recommendations was to get something in place and working and then worry about making it more efficient later.
